iPhone 5 will have a better camera than in previous models.  It will have a 8 MP rear camera with 1080p video playback and panoramic photo capture capabilities and increased dual-LED flash unit with a front facing camera of 5 MP camera.  It is expected that it will have a better RAM , might be of 1 GB and it is also expected that that it will arrive with an improved A5 processor.

More features including an improved and better antenna, 3 or 4 internal antennas for GSM and CDMA network with wireless charging capability.  There is only one known real fact about iPhone 5 at the moment  which is that it will feature iOS 5, which will also be multitask capable with loads of new features.

The carriers for the moment may be Verizon or AT&T, but there have been talks about T-Mobile and Sprint being the new successor to feature an iPhone.
